You will NOT be disappointed in any EMILE HENRY baking products. This beautiful bakeware is amazing and worth every penny. My cheese and veggie quiche turns out perfect every time and never sticks! My not-so-secret to a perfect crustless quiche? (shhhh, a bit of bisquick/or homemade biscuit mix and buttermilk mixed with eggs for the bottom)! Really! It's so good.:) I use the 12-inch dish because I usually bake for a crowd but the 9 inch dish is perfect for your usual holiday pies and whatnot.
These pie dishes clean-up easily with a 5 minute soak in the sink and voila...good as new! I've baked some carmelly, gooey pecan pies in them and they truly stand up to the task and have a natural non-stick quality which can't be beat.
-All I can further say is...GO FOR IT! Investing in GOOD QUALITY bakeware is so worth it and if you take good care of these ceramic wonders, you can actually pass 'em down to your grand-chillens.

Present your best cherry, rhubarb or fresh strawberry pie in this stylish & sturdy pie dish. It is handcrafted of Burgundy clay that offers excellent heat conduction and retention, so pies bake and brown evenly. The rich glaze, applied by hand, makes each piece unique and provides a scratch-resistant surface that cleans up easily. Ridges on the rim produce a fluted-edge piecrust.While the fluted rim on this pie dish broadens it to an overall diameter of 10-1/2 inches, the interior dimension is the popular 9-inch size required for most pies and quiches. Color saturates the outside of the two-inch-deep dish, while the inside is glazed a bright white. The glaze is so smooth that greasing is not necessary and clean-up is made especially easy. Provencal bakeware and dinnerware pieces come in several colors for contemporary mixing and matching.
