For five generations, the Henry family has been making tableware and bakeware in Marcigny, France. True to tradition all Emile Henry pieces are carefully crafted from Burgundy clay, found naturally in the region. The mineral-rich clay is combined with 100-percent natural ingredients to create a product unsurpassed for even heat distribution. Through the unique Ceradon process, each piece is fired with an extremely durable glaze that gives the finished product a naturally non-stick surface- which will not scratch from use or cleaning. All Emile Henry product is freezer, oven, broiler, microwave and dishwasher safe. We call this a lasagna set, but it's useful for many different dishes. Casseroles, cinnamon buns and macaroni and cheese are just a few ideas of how this handcrafted dish can be used .Perfect for making lasagna, this dish is also the right size for cooking vegetable casseroles or baking fudge brownies The clay is an excellent material for retaining heat, so lasagna keeps its warmth in these dishes as you gather your guests to the table. The dishes have cream-colored interiors and painted exteriors that are covered with a translucent glaze, creating a rustic-looking finish.
